At Charity Baptist Church we are real people seeking to make a real difference. We are people who have struggled, and know pain. We can relate to what you are going through, and the truth is - there is hope! Throughout the Bible we see just how much God loves people – he loves you. God even promises to carry our burdens and heartaches. He says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden (burdened) and I will give you rest” (Mat 11:28). Our world talks about finding peace. People buy things, go places, use illicit substances, and try to fill their need for peace with many things; yet, it never lasts. The Bible tells us that lasting peace is from God who promises, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jer 29:13).
